Hello and welcome to the New Joint Aikikai Council website, the aim of the rebrand is to make clear what we as a council represent.
The Joint Aikikai Council represents a unified approach to Aikido training in the UK, maintaining direct ties with Aikikai Hombu Dojo in Tokyo. Our council brings together experienced instructors and dedicated students committed to preserving the authentic spirit and techniques of Aikido.
We also provide the necessary documents, guidance and policies for New Membership, Coaching, Safeguarding and Communication.
In the future we will also use the site to provide information and advertising for the visiting Hombu instructor biannual courses.
As it stands the site is a work in progress, we will keep fine tuning it so that it serves our members better and acts as a clear link to providing information for anyone interested in Aikido and how it is cared for by us in the UK.
We are happy to receive any sensible feedback about how we can improve the quality of the website and are looking forward to forging a stronger commitment to our purpose.
